A realist (at least I think so) researcher, a problem solver, a educator, a helper, a friend, and an artist. That's how I see myself, but there's no fancy name or job title to encapsulate all of those things. I'm a systems thinker, a polymath, a jack of all trades. I don't like titles because no one title can define me. ​So, I'm just a "Carlos."

I guess the most important thing that you should know about me as a professional is that I live in the future. I don't view education and the way we use knowledge like most people. I say this because I don't view myself as an expert in a lot of things that I'm knowledgeable about. I learn about things, like AI, and figure out how to solve problems with that knowledge, or how to educate other people on the topics that I'm knowledgeable about in a way that they can easily understand. Then I'm on to the next thing.

My goal for CareerGate AI (CGAI) is to help individuals, primarily high school and college students, find careers that are ideal for them and plan their path to achieve these goals with the least amount of debt possible.  But CGAI isn't just limited to students. There is something for everyone to learn here.

Another thing to know is that I don't operate like the traditional business professional or educator. I'm not here to sell you on something that you don't want or need. My goal is to keep my material straight to the point and meaningful. Because who has time to pay for and learn something that they will never use? We had enough of that in high school and college, right?

When it comes to AI, while I do talk about the topic and its benefits, I'm not blind to the negative effects that it can and will have on humanity. AI is here and it is here to stay. My goal when it comes to AI is to teach individuals how it works, how to use it effectively and responsibly, and how to beat the AI (to some degree).
